Will someone please wind my biological clock? I can’t reach the crank…

I’ve been rewriting this deeply personal comic for months--I rarely do that—and I’ve come to the conclusion that this will, in some configuration, become a part of the graphic novel I’ve been working on, so consider this a sneak peak! I suppose something has always felt wrong about it, and maybe that’s because it’s about issues I’m still grappling with. I’d like to think I’m not alone out there!

Note: Apologies for the weird size change. Guess I'm still figuring out the updated Blogger!

What about Gingerbread Men? OR They have the vanilla ones at the Giant on York Road. OR Lael, they’re f@&^ing cookies!

Some of you may remember the comic where I confessed to my long time addiction to sweets and discussed my epic search for the “leaf cookies,”  leaf shaped sandwich tea cookies which had slowly disappeared from grocery store bakeries. Well, they’re back!

I know it’s good advice because Dr. A found the pictures with little hearts on them on MY desk…(Just kidding! I cleared this comic with Dr. A first. :-) )

I jettisoned my beloved "manuscript" theme to make the comic more visible. Tell me what you think...too much scrolling? I promise more design changes in the coming weeks and possibly some retroactive uploads--I've changed comics back to February 5th so far! You can still view the image the old way if you'd prefer!

But would I know it if I saw it?

I AM working on getting a new website to improve image quality, but for the time being, please follow these instructions to view the enlarged image!

For Firefox, click on the image. Right click. Select "view image." Click again to enlarge. For Chrome, click on the image. Right click. Select "open image in new tab." Click again to enlarge. For Internet Explorer, right click. Select "open link." Right click. Hover down to the lower right of the image--an orange box should appear. Click on the box to enlarge.

Thanks so much for your patience! Please let me know if you still can't view the comic. As long as I can see it, I assume that you can, too!

I just hope it’s not a thousand piecer…AND Check out the baby bib I made today!

Today's comic first, but please scroll down to see the baby bib I made at a baby shower today. It was fun--everyone had fabric markers and blank onesies and bibs! I'm hoping mine will encourage the young lady to love medieval art...er, my vague nod to medieval art!

A Modern "Carpet Page" and Some Drawings from Manuscripts! (And, yes, I am using the term "carpet page." My apologies.)

The first sketch is what my week was like last week, but I'm excited about the second one. Most elaborate drawing I've ever done with just the tablet. Once I overcame some tech problems, I had a lot of fun drawing the "carpet page" and the "beast" with the tablet!
