Howdy,
I had been saving the patterned paper below for months and months and months for this birthday. Yay, I made my own cute matching envelope! And, I finally made a card colored with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I love them so. They are trendy, and I can't help myself.

Spirit Boosting Shaker
My friend needed a pick-me-up and I thought this would be a fun one. More playing around with metallic inks. I've really been into making shakers that don't open, but just have a front and a back. To me, it makes them more secure and less top heavy, but also more like the toys that they are (Let's be honest! Let the form follow function... ;-) ).

Birthday Card with Mirror
Dear Readers,
I have been wanting to do a card with a mirror inside for months, and finally got the rest of the needed inspiration to make it happen. I also had fun with my new metallic inks!

Bookmark Bunch, Part 3
Hey, Everybody, even more bookmarks I made and a happy birthday tag!
One note about the die I used for the first bookmark--I'm terming it my over-sized seasonal bookmark for use in art folios--I have no idea how it is supposed to work. I was sad because I was so excited to get it in the mail, especially as I got it 50% off. The Memory Box Dies, Harvest Moon Tree which I believe is now discontinued cuts the moon, tree, and ground shape. Here's what I just can't figure out: the very thin moon shape is cut out all the way around as is the trunk of the tree and branches outside of the moon. However, the base of the tree is not cut. What would be the purpose of this? It doesn't make sense to leave it in the paper with the moon circle cut out. If you are meant to cut it out, it wasn't clear to me where to cut it out. Everywhere I tried to cut it and retain the ground seemed a little off. Also, below, you will see several I cut out and then removed most of the ground portion.

Bookmark Bunch, Part 2
Howdy,
Here's are two more bookmarks I made. I was planning to scrap the second one because I totally ruined the lamination, but the intended recipient decided she liked it anyway! I got the idea for that one from this Jennifer McGuire post.
