Shaking in another year...

Howdy! I've got another birthday card here, but I'm especially happy with this one because it's my first shaker card that actually shakes well (in that the pieces inside actually move). Yay!

Happy Birthday to my pretend Grandma! (She is absolutely delightful, and was my father's mother's best friend since childhood. We exchange letters and cards and reflect on my grandma. As you can see, I'm behind on my letter writing.)

Another Birthday Card

Howdy, Readers.

This post and the next will feature cards which showcase patterned papers from Crate Paper's 6x6 Farmhouse, Crate Paper's 6x6 DIY Shop, Echo Park's 6x6 Getaway, Pebbles' 6x6 Front Porch, and my beloved basicgrey 6x6 Aurora. On the central panel, I made a shaker filled with punched out stars.

For both this card and the one in the previous post, I show variants on a new technique--frankly, the execution needs work. But, once again, I am pleased with my attempt at something new. Thank you, everyone, for watching me stumble along on this journey!

Happy Mother's Day!

Howdy, Readers.

This post will feature a card which showcases patterned papers from Crate Paper's 6x6 Farmhouse, Crate Paper's 6x6 DIY Shop, Echo Park's 6x6 GetawayPebbles' 6x6 Front Porch, and my beloved basicgrey 6x6 Aurora. I also used Papertrey Ink's Luxe Gold card stock. I made doors going into the sentiment on the central panel. On the doors, I used two star embellishments from the Ki Memories Puffies Collection. I never would have bought these on my own, but since one of my patterned papers was back ordered, Simon Says Stamp sent me a pack of these stickers. I think that's great customer service, and it allowed me to try a product I normally wouldn't buy.

Like the card I'll show next week, I show variants on a new technique--frankly, the execution needs work. But, once again, I am pleased with my attempt at something new. Thank you, everyone, AGAIN, for watching me stumble along on this journey!

A Confirmation Gift

Howdy, Everyone. Here is a card and a necklace I made as a confirmation gift. The necklace is similar to this one in my etsy shop.
